Nigeria has in recent years introduced a number of economic and business reforms aimed at improving macroeconomic stability, strengthening public revenue, attracting investment, facilitating trade, and creating a more enabling environment for businesses.
While these reforms are intended to address longstanding structural and economic challenges, businesses continue to experience significant pressures relating to operating costs, access to finance, electricity, taxation, foreign exchange, regulation, logistics, and market access. This has created an important need for constructive dialogue on how government policies are translating into actual experiences for businesses across different sectors.
Against this backdrop, the Policy Advocacy Centre (PAC) of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is convening a high-level policy dialogue webinar themed ‘Reform Reality: Are Government Policies Hurting or Improving Businesses?’
The webinar will bring together government institutions, regulators, business associations, policy experts, civil society organisations, and businesses to examine the practical impact of current government policies and reforms on Nigeria’s business environment.
